It’s a grower. All over the place stylistically. Even borrows a little from U2, though that’s half hearted . It’s an Australian rock record. Producer was going for something, he may have succeeded. Just Skin seemed like the true punk sound they were going for but they kept it under wraps. A classic 1980s record. Probably influenced by the go-betweens, among others. A nearly perfect album. Lost is equally great. Don’t sleep on that record.
